About the Role

NEXTON is seeking a Product Owner specializing in Data Hadoop to join their dynamic team in Paris. In this role, the Product Owner will be key to coordinating between technical teams and business units, translating business needs into clear technical specifications. The role involves working within the Hadoop ecosystem, managing large data volumes, and ensuring the technical feasibility and alignment with business objectives. The Product Owner will refine user stories, manage the backlog, and facilitate communication between teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Refine and frame user stories with product owners and technical teams.
Translate business needs into technical specifications, focusing on Hadoop and Big Data challenges.
Ensure the coherence and prioritization of the backlog, aligning with business objectives.
Challenge business teams and product owners to ensure the relevance of requests and their effective implementation.
Facilitate communication between technical teams (Data Engineers, Data Scientists, Architects) and business owners.
Participate in Agile ceremonies (Scrum, SAFe) and track development progress.
Identify technical constraints and risks, proposing suitable solutions.

Required Skills

Strong expertise in the Hadoop ecosystem (Spark, Scala, Hive, HQL) and Big Data architectures.
Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
Experience with Agile methodologies and strong communication skills to bridge technical and business teams.
Analytical mindset and excellent problem-solving skills.
