About the Role
PNC is seeking a Data Manager to join its Technology team in Cleveland, OH. The role will focus on developing, implementing, and managing organizational data solutions to support business objectives. As a Data Manager, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the integrity and maintenance of organizational data while contributing to high-quality and scalable solutions.
This position offers flexibility for remote work, with some in-office responsibilities. PNC does not provide sponsorship for employment visas or participate in STEM OPT for this role.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage data solutions to meet business needs and user requirements.
- Lead in the design and implementation of data service infrastructure across multiple data platforms.
- Establish and maintain policies for data services, ensuring high-quality delivery.
- Manage data acquisition, archive recovery, and implementation strategies.
- Prepare reports and advisories for senior leadership on data structure and storage.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve data integration and security issues.
- Guide and mentor team members to foster growth and deliver high-impact solutions.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience in a similar data management role.
- Proficiency with Hadoop and related big data technologies.
- Strong experience with data modeling, database design, and SQL.
- Ability to design and implement scalable, high-performance solutions.
- Strong knowledge of data governance, security standards, and best practices.
- Proficient in using version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD tools.
- Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in an Agile or Waterfall environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with machine learning, data science, or data mining techniques.
- Familiarity with data analytics platforms and business intelligence tools.
- Salesforce certifications (Developer, Administrator, App Builder).
- Previous experience with cloud platforms and data integration concepts.
- Familiarity with automated data pipelines and ETL processes.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience in project management.
