Hiring Databricks Architect to lead lakehouse architecture.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end lakehouse architecture (AWS Databricks)
- Define Unity Catalog, governance, security, cost optimization patterns
- Guide teams on Spark, Delta Lake, DLT, dbt best practices
- Own reference architectures, design reviews, standards
- Multi-cloud strategy + enterprise data governance
Required Skills
- 10+ years Data Engineering/Architecture
- Production Databricks leadership (multiple enterprise projects)
- Expert Databricks Lakehouse + Administrator certified ideal
- Data Vault/Dimensional modeling expert
- Governance frameworks (DataHub, DAMA, Collibra)
- Strong API (REST/GraphQL) + CI/CD leadership
- Duration: 6 months + further extensions
- Workload: Full-time remote + 1 week/month travel
