About the Role
As a Senior Hadoop Developer, the candidate will lead data engineering efforts, building enterprise-scale data solutions to integrate, clean, and transform complex datasets. This role includes mentoring peers, collaborating with project teams, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality data pipelines and architectural consistency across systems.
Key Responsibilities

Lead design and implementation of data integration, transformation, and quality control processes.

Collaborate with project management to define deliverables and ensure alignment with business goals.

Manage large, complex data sets and build scalable data pipelines supporting operational and analytical needs.

Maintain and improve data systems, ensuring adherence to risk management and release processes.

Analyze and improve test suites, troubleshoot issues, and support continuous delivery.

Identify gaps in data management standards and lead efforts to close them.

Mentor junior data engineers and promote best practices in data engineering.
Required Skills & Experience

Strong experience with Hadoop ecosystem including Hive, Impala, Spark, and data warehousing.

Proficient in SQL and Unix/Linux environments.

Experience with data gap remediation and development/testing within large-scale data projects.

Mid to senior-level Hadoop development experience preferred.
