Your Role as a Data Engineer
As a Data Engineer, you’ll join one of our client projects while participating in our Talent Program, which fast-tracks your growth from graduate to mid-level professional in just 24 months. Through certified training, coaching, and peer sessions, you’ll quickly advance your career—often stepping into a permanent role with our client or Mploy Associates after the program.
Your core responsibilities include:

Designing and building scalable data pipelines on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, Oracle Cloud)

Managing data from raw ingestion to clean, business-ready formats

Accessing and inventorying databases across client organizations

Writing and maintaining code/scripts in Python, PySpark, Java, and more

Migrating systems (e.g., from Hadoop to Azure)

Documenting and presenting data flows to business stakeholders
You’ll typically spend 36 hours per week on client work, and 4 hours weekly on professional development.

What We’re Looking For

Master’s or PhD graduates in Computer Science, Data Science, or similar
-
0–3 years of professional experience
-
Passionate about learning and growing in data engineering

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Proficient in OSs (Linux, Unix, Windows), cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), and coding (Python, Java, SQL, C#)

Creative and analytical problem solver
