About the Role

As a Data Engineer, the candidate will contribute to data-focused projects for one of Mploy Associates’ clients, while participating in a comprehensive Talent Program. This program is designed to fast-track professionals from entry-level to medior+ level within 24 months, combining hands-on project work with certified training, mentoring, and personal coaching.

Responsibilities

Implement technical solutions to convert raw data into cleansed, usable formats
Inventory and access relevant organizational databases
Develop and maintain tools, scripts, and applications in languages like Python, PySpark, and Java
Support cloud-based data platform transitions (e.g., Hadoop to Azure)
Document and present data flows to internal stakeholders
Dedicate 36 hours per week to client projects and 4 hours to structured personal development through the Talent Program

Required Skills

0–3 years of professional experience in data or IT-related roles
A Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
Familiarity with operating systems such as Linux, Unix, and Windows
Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud)
Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, SQL, Python, or C#
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Stakeholder management skills and a consultative mindset
