As an Accenture Flex employee, you will apply your skills to drive business transformation for leading organizations and communities, work with a diverse network of people across Accenture businesses, and use the latest emerging technologies to address today’s biggest business challenges.
Role Responsibilities
- Apply deep technical knowledge to design and implement robust software components that meet project requirements.
- Support and guide colleagues by sharing expertise and fostering a collaborative environment.
- Analyze complex problems and develop innovative solutions that enhance system performance and reliability.
- Engage with stakeholders to align software development efforts with business objectives and priorities.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to optimize processes and technologies.
- Be a subject‑matter expert, collaborate with the team, take responsibility for team decisions, and provide solutions to problems for both your immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Travel: 5 days away per quarter mandate by the client.
- Work onsite at the client’s office three days per week.
Basic Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of work experience.
- Advanced proficiency in Apache Hadoop.
- Experience working with large data sets using big data solutions.
- Experience as a database developer on the Hadoop platform, including SQL, Hive, Spark, debugging, and performance tuning.
- Bachelor’s Degree.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced proficiency in Apache Hive.
- Advanced proficiency in Software Design & Solutions and Software Engineering.
- Advanced proficiency in Structured Query Language (SQL) and Apache Spark.
