Client is currently seeking an Application Architect with our client in the financial industry located in Pennington, NJ and Charlotte, NC. This is a 12 + month contract position.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver complex requirements to accomplish business goals
- Consult with the business and operations to identify and understand challenges and opportunities to improve the use and effectiveness of technology, find creative solutions through knowledge of the domain, practical experiments, and Proof of Concepts, and align the solution intent and architectural vision to an evolving backlog of technology change
- Clarify the architecture and assist with system design for the development teams to support implementation and provide solution options to resolve any architectural impediments
- Utilize the defined best practices, templates, and documentation to create architectural designs and suggest improvements to best practices and templates
- Build automation to support business requirements and stability for timely delivery ensuring accuracy and improving efficiency
- Ensure that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional and compliance requirements, code solutions, test, and ensure the solution can be integrated successfully into the overall application/system with clear, robust, and well-tested interfaces
- Implement the best technology strategy, standardization test strategies and best practices to create innovative solutions
Requirements:
- Hadoop, Hive, pyspark, API, PL/SQL, ETL, Selenium, Python
- Awareness of development and testing practices in the industry.
